Tamara Shiyab – KG1 (joined ISC Al Ain in 2004)

After working for five years at the International School of Choueifat, I have learned to appreciate the benefits of using the SABIS system.
Using SABIS system is simple and straightforward. In my KG1 classroom, basic concepts are introduced, drilled and repeated over and over again throughout the year to ensure that no student is left behind.
It is truly a rewarding experience to be a part of the SABIS team. I enjoy working with some amazing teachers and meeting many children from all parts of the world. For myself, the most rewarding part of my job is to watch students enter the school for the first time, many not knowing a word of English, and by the end of the year, they are reading short stories and communicating beautifully. This truly is the greatest joy for me and proof that the system really does work!!!!
