Preceeding a face to face interview you will have a telephone interview. Please note that this refers to SABIS in the Gulf region and that variations may take place in other regions.
Before you are eligible for a phone interview you will have to have submitted the following documents:
- Completed application form.
- Current copy of CV
- Video CV
- Referees verified and contacted by the recruitment department.
- Police clearance letter (or proof of application)
You will be informed of your interview date and time in advance.
How should I prepare?
- It is vital that you have studied the documents about the SABIS system sent to you/on the information mini site in advance of interview, many questions will be based on this.
- It is also important that you know about SABIS globally and studying www.sabis.net will suffice for that.
- You will also be asked many questions based on your cv and on the questionaire you completed on the application form.
- It is also a good idea to study the geography/culture/history of this region on the internet before any interview.
- Finally you will be asked random questions about your interest in beginning a career in teaching, with SABIS in this region.
The interview will take approximately 30 minutes but note that it is very organised and that all of your answers are noted, however insignificant the question seems.
You will also find the interviewer calm and pleasant so no need to be too nervous:)
